Works restart after Christmas

Friday 22 Jan 2021

Since remobilising after Christmas, the concrete works and service installation have progressed well, with much of the ILB ramp constructed as well as a good proportion of drainage, tanks and service ducts in and around the building slab installed. Preparation for the ALB ramp continues, with filling and cutting down the piles and work to the gabions prior to the installation of the steelwork which is planned to start on 8th February. Concrete works will continue onto the sheet pile capping beam the rest of this month into early February, followed by the concrete works for the giant slab on which the main building will sit.
