Work starts on roof

Scaffolding has been erected on the west side of the building and a start made on the roof for the new boathouse. This is the area where the ILB will be kept and the gift shop and public engagement space in the new building. The first timber sections of roof have been constructed... these are effectively the interior or underside of the roof which will eventually be clad in a weatherproof material over the top of the planks.
