Doors!

Another milestone reached as the new boathouse's huge roller shutter doors have been fitted, on the northern end for the inshore lifeboat and the Shannon-class all-weather lifeboat and on the southern side which allows access for SLARS carriage maintenance or other plant and equipment deliveries. Other exterior doors for the crew and shop and at eastern entrance have also been fitted though the temporary door and wall in front of the inshore lifeboat shed remains for now for works acess.

Work continues inside on walls and fit-out, with the crew changing facilities and crew room much progressed.
