More external progress - walls and roof

Monday 28 Feb 2022

As the internal fitting out of the building continues at a pace, there have been more obvious changes outside the building. Firstly, the low blockwork exterior walls have been constructed. These largely extend upwards as far window height... the remainder of the exterior walls will be timber clad. Secondly, the metal roof panels have at long last been delivered to site and installation work is proceeding quickly, with metal battens added to the roof, a further layer of insulation and then the stepped panels being installed. The roof above what will be the public entrance and shop is in place, with the remainder of the roof to follow shortly.

And in one further small step, the temporary door and sheeting over the ILB shed has been removed, leaving the new roller door visible to the outside world for the first time.
