RNLI Wells marked 200 years of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution 1824-2024 with a series of events and an exhibition at Wells Maltings. A picture of all current volunteers at Wells was taken on 1/8/24 and Wells met up with Sheirngham and Cromer boats for a special RNLI 200 version of Sheringham's usual annual lifeboat day in August.

Storm Surge damages the boathouse 5/12/13
The lifeboat station was flooded during the storm surge of 5 December 2013 which caused extensive damage, along with damage to properties in Wells and right along the east coast.
