We are grateful to pupils at Alderman Peel High School in Wells who raised £1745 for the Wells Shannon Lifeboat Appeal with a sponsored walk from the school to Holkham beach and back. Many of today's lifeboat crew were, of course, educated at Alderman Peel and doubtless some of tomorrow's crew members who will take the Shannon out in future will also attend the school. Pictured presenting the cheque to Coxswain Allen Frary are Deputy Headmaster Barney Rimmer, Harriot Pigney (Head Girl) and Thomas Walduck (Head Boy).
